The 'Reverend' Jesse Jackson feels that Dan Gilbert sees Lebron James as a "runaway slave".

What an idiot. Will someone please put a muzzle on him?
You're the one that said he's a combination of two great Hall of Fame players and doesn't need to defer to anyone.
Now, you're saying he needs a Stockton-like team mate....make up your mind.
As usual, I am being 100% consistent in my viewpoint. To summarize, here it is again:
LeBron is a great talent, no question about his ability. But, he needs to understand his role on a TEAM, and play that. I think, with Wade leading the team, and LeBron just allowing his skills to "flow" within the constraints of a "team" scheme, the Heat will have a great shot of winning the NBA title.
I agree with your last statement. I just think he already understands the TEAM concept, but in Cleveland he didn't have any stellar teammates so his only option was to dominate every facet of every game if they were going to win. I just don't think he is as selfish as you portray him. He took a pay cut and the chance of losing stats and some notoriety with his "brand" in order to play on a better TEAM.
Jason Whitlock, a black journalist with FoxSports.com, wrote a good response to Jesse's criticism.

It's a good article....but!
Whitlock lowered himself by invoking the names of Rush and Hannity. First, what do either of those commentators have to do with the Lebron situation, the Cavs' owner letter, and jackson's stoooooooopid interlope into it??????
I guess Whitlock thinks it strengthens his position....no! he was afraid he'll be called an Uncle Tom for daring to criticize jackson and hoped to win some favor by his unwarranted attack on Rush.
I don't always agree with Rush, or Hannity. But, in Rush's case, he always cites his sources...be it a study, a survey, a poll, whatever! States FACTS....again, from sources, then comments on it. He CLEARLY separates facts from his opinions.
Azzholes like Keith O. and that other dyke on msnbc, like lib media everywhere, try to pass off personal opinions as facts. Sam Donaldson, the long-time moronic ABC reporter, let the cat out of the bag when he was interviewed after his retirement. Many of us knew it was true....Sam just officially confirmed it.
Oh...maybe this should be on the political forum.
