We can now get u-verse in our neighborhood. I would love to drop Comcast (mostly for customer service reasons), but my experience with ATT (land line and cell phones) has not been much better. Also, disappointed that ATT is offering the same monopolistic pricing as Comcast.
    Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

AT&T delivers U-Verse over fiber. It will not be the same experience as AT&T cell phones.

Comcast Atlanta must have some customer care reps who can actually string a sentence together. Monroe/Jackson Comcast is so sad it is funny.

The pricing is the first thing I noticed. Probably some government mandate involved there.

We switched to Uverse in April and have been very happy with it. Customer service is better than average. The best part is AT&T bundled my phone, internet, and Uverse and the cost is less than I was paying for DishNetwork alone. I also don't have to worry about storms blocking the signal.

I believe that the fiber doesn't go all the way to the house which is the reason for the bonded pairs technique and the use of compression. AT&T has been working on this for a long time and looks to be trying to do things right. But they do have a slight disadvantage with the actual wires that go to the house and hence the lack of service to many areas and the limitations on numbers of simultaneous channels that can be viewed on one line. Their service is excellent and they are really trying to make up for their transgressions in the past when they were the only phone company.
