Tickets for kids 17 and under are $10. Plus the Kids Club for 8th graders and below is a steal for only $30. That price includes all home events for ALL sports and a T-shirt. If you factor in all sports, that's less than $1 per game. The Log Cabin Family Pack is a great deal as well: $275 for five tickets for six home games = $9.17 a ticket. Plus you get a $20 gift card from Log Cabin.
Long overdue and much needed. It makes absolutely NO sense to be able to save money by buying tickets at the gate. The only people who will be upset are those who haven't bought season tickets. BUY SEASON TICKETS!
Absolutely, I have never seen something so dumb in all my years of going to athletic events. How in the world can buying single game tickets be cheaper than buying season tickets? That is ridiculous. Tech fans have been spoiled for too long. Ahh, we gotta pay for parking. Ahh, we gotta pay more than 10 dollars a game? This is all in an effort to boost season ticket sales and to boost LTAC giving (pay for a parking pass and other perks that you cant get for free now).
Just for reference- TCU vs Texas game ticket= $75 each, plus parking at the "Jerry Dome" $50.
Log Cabin Family 5-Packs are on sale for the 2010 football season for only $275. That's five tickets for all six home games, and you receive a $20 gift card to Log Cabin.
Tix with this package are $9.17 each.
