According to his campaign finance documents, he donated $150 to Louisiana Tech University Cheerleaders on May 18, 2007.
Of course, he paid the following sums to LSU (out of his campaign warchest):Robert Adley is also a member of the 1860 Society which includes people who "affirm their commitment to LSU through future gifts."
- July 21, 2008: $2,525 to the LSU Ticket Office for "events" (Football Season Tickets & parking)
- June 19, 2008: $287 to the LSU Ticket Office for "event" (about the same time as LSU's games in the College World Series)
- Jan. 30, 2009: $100 to the LSU Foundation for "contribution scholarship"

Bossier Parish is full of LSU bandwagoners so maybe he's just being politically correct with his constituents but there is no reason we should not expect a politician that is one of our graduates to contribute to OUR foundation as well as that of LSU.
I just sent Mr. Adley a polite e-mail requesting that he consider a donation to his alma mater's "Quest for Excellence" campaign that was just announced. As a former resident of Bossier City, I know there are many, many Tech fans and supporters that live in Bossier Parish. His e-mail address is adleyr@legis.state.la.us. If Robert Adley is your senator, please consider sending him a note requesting his support. He needs to know that we support Tech and that we VOTE!!
Just got a reply from Senator Adley's office. He said he is unable to support Tech's Quest for Excellence campaign at this time. We need to recruit a Tech grad to run against him in the next election.
Interesting research. I would keep that in mind if I lived in Bossier Parish.
We should be unable to support him in his reelection campaign. What a loser.
