Burch had a big weekend on the diamond before heading back to Ruston for two-a-days.The Freshman Quarterback and Outfielder went 7-14, with 3 HR and 9 RBI in the Big League World Series in Easley, South Carolina. The Louisiana team beat Chicago (IL) 10-0, Easley (SC) 15-2 and North Cumberland (NJ) 14-3 before falling in the United States Semi-finals to Thousand Oaks (CA) 5-2. California scored 3 in the top of the last inning to pull away. Burch also robbed a home run and had an outfield assist throwing to home plate. An impressive weekend to say the least from the new Bulldog.

Don't forget about Ryan Gebhardt (Ouachita HS), Colby Johnson (Ruston HS), and Sam Alvis (brother of Will). All of these guys played on the same team and are all Tech signees.

All 4 did great throughout the season and were considered the top players of the team.

Just referring to Tech Offensive Coordinator Tony Franklin's policy against starting freshmen. It has been widely discussed that he won't play freshmen, regardless of how good they are.

If Burch has an arm this good, maybe we should consider playing him.

Gonna be interesting, possibly a huge amount of pressure to see how good Burch is. TF is going to be under the gun to use TB if we can't get the first 4 guys going.

I don't understand, where is that coming from? What is the big deal with playing two sports? LSU's made a living off of these type athletes and I don't see where this kid is any different.

That's not what he is saying. He is saying that every week that same person comes on the board and talks about Taylor Burch non-stop. It is obviously someone related to him.

Walk-On has 6 posts, and most deal with Texas A&M tickets. One about scheduling Tulane, and one about Burch. Don't know where you got that this person comes on here every week to discuss Burch.

I must have him confussed with another person. But last month when we were talking about who should start versus grambling, someone kept consistantly typing Taylor Burch over and over agian.
