I thought all of these were things that considered during the recruiting process

Just reporting what i was told
We are definetly in the lead from what I have been told. He has been impressed with the team and coaching staff. Loves the fact we are playing 3 games in Mississippi next year and his chance to make an impact right away.

So, why is the Elliot kid from LSU eligible? I really don't understand the rule. I thought eligibility coincided with the season (when games are played) in basketball. Am I wrong on that?
