Honestly, I think GSU is just as fast as we are (across the board).
They don't have the same entrance requirements that most D1 programs face....so they get some excellent athletes that might not have made it past the clearinghouse for D1 (FBS).

I kind of thought the same thing as you TBone1. Still hoping Livas is just a little faster and can return a kick or punt to the house!

In the grand scheme of things, speed doesn't matter if you can't learn the routes... And that Freshman QB has to remember what route he said......

    This quote sums it up:

“We’ve got some guys who can run fast, but not to the extent that Tech does,” Broadway said.

You've been around this stuff for a while now. How does this teams "team speed" compare to the Tech teams you've been around?

Speed in numbers is what has improved the most. The top guys on the team haven't changed that much but you gotta remember I played with J. Holland, thats one of the fastest guys out there. However from when I played you could really only talk about 2-3 guys that were on a different level. It seems now we have 6-8 guys that can really turn another gear. Speed has never been anything we have really lacked. It's always come down to that speed running out of gas with no depth. Depth we finally have now.
