Much better on defense. But, still doesn't mean that much. Big tests are looming. Will be very tough to repeat last year's 10-0 regular season.

5A is getting more and more interesting. It looks like both Acadiana and St. Thomas More have their best teams in years. The two play in a few weeks. STM is at Evangel this week.
Acadiana vs STM this Friday, both 4 and 0. We (Acadiana) have handled them the past two years fairly easily, but you never know.
From what I have seen the past two years, we are stronger more physical and they are usually the faster team.
They seem to be living off the big offensive play this year, but we've had our share of those too I suppose. My biggest concern is our lack of a passing game to keep teams honest.
I told y'all way back this Acadiana team would tested and ready come playoff time.

Yep, your D did a great job of keeping WM out of their game. WM's weakness has been pass D. WM has one true cover guy and hopefully he will end up at Tech. The two long pass plays by Acadiana were game breakers.

MD I see what you are talking about now that you mention it. I kinda forget about the passing game's role in this game. We definately caught them flat footed on that first play.
Franklinton 34 vs Carr 28 was one of the best games I have ever seen. Unbelievable athletes making incredible plays. Two teams that are not afraid to chuck the ball.
