I really wish Tech would make an athletics commercial to play before the movie starts. You have a captive audience so why not play something promoting the season?

They had it too loud for the first few minutes but after they figured it out, it sounded good.
Also had free popcorn and grilled cheese at concession stands.

Grilled cheese? I love grilled cheese sandwiches! If you don't love them, you're not American.
They did the same thing at the end of last year (sometime in May). They played "The Blind Side" and there were probably 150-200 people there.
Back in the day, way back, the Union Board showed a movie in Howard every Sunday night. It was great entertainment and attracted large crowds.
reefer madness was a classic. Think I saw it 50 times in tonk.
If athletics brought it up and supplied the commercial to Union Board I'm sure it would get played.
I took in many a movie in Howard "back in the day". They showed most of the big movies of the time when I was in school. For those of you who might remember this one, the actually showed "Fritz the Cat"!(Look it up!)
