I took in many a movie in Howard "back in the day". They showed most of the big movies of the time when I was in school. For those of you who might remember this one, the actually showed "Fritz the Cat"! (Look it up!)

Sure that wasn't shown at The Tech Theater in downtown Ruston??

Back in the day, way back, the Union Board showed a movie in Howard every Sunday night. It was great entertainment and attracted large crowds.

I remember that, too! Usually filled Howard. Was trying to remember what I saw there, but my "rememberer" doesn't work too good!

They had it too loud for the first few minutes but after they figured it out, it sounded good.

Also had free popcorn and grilled cheese at concession stands.

Who went? Or who was invited? Wasn't school between quarters so no students were in town?

First time I saw Star Wars was at Tech Movie night. It was in the Student Center when I was there (early to mid 80's).
