There are many more stories like this out there that deserve the MoH. It's a shame it has become so political and near impossible for those deserving to get unless they're dead, even then being close to impossible.

Sounds like he is a true living hero who definitely didn't leave his wounded on the battlefield. Thanks is a hollow word, but he and many, many more have done so much for this country and I am truly gratefull and thankfull! Godspeed

There is nothing they do "right" that doesn't have some benefit politically for them. They are scurge of the earth.
This won't be politically beneficial to anyone but SFC Petry. And there are a lot worse politicians here and abroad.

Well, that may be so...but I doubt it. He's trying to change the perception that he's a flaky little pos. It's for you to determine if he's sincere. Lotsa other flakes out there like genpop and my older brother buy into his crap.
I agree but they won't gain anything from SFC Petry's honor, just like they didn't with SSG Giunta.
