Our press box is an embarrassment and a frequent topic of conversation. USU's top three priorities in facility upgrades are a new updated weight room, a dedicated basketball practice facility, and a new press box and suites. I'm not sure what order those will come in, and I don't think we quite have a funding campaign put together yet, but the AD has acknowledged these as high priority needs. Hopefully we get them sooner, rather than later.
One correction, though. We do have an indoor football practice facility, the Stan Laub Indoor Facility. Here is a link to the official website's page on facilities, and a picture of the Laub Center:

Are Bradshaw's, Dean's, Stover's, et al numbers retired? Would it matter if the number is displayed if not?
Much thanks! BYU is sure having a down year. I liked what I saw from my Aggies, but BYU was just playing awful last night. It was great to get our first win against them since 1993 and break a 10-game losing skid to them, but it would have been much sweeter if the Cougars actually showed up conscious.
This is one of the top BB&B posts of the year. Bradshaw, Dean, Roaf, Tilley, Stover, Boniol, Rattay,... All of these names should be plated around the inside walls of Aillet Stadium along with the naming of "Terry Bradshaw Field". This is huge conversation material for ESPN announcers as well as motivation for recruits to play here. A couple of $Ks would be all it takes.

Basically if they are on the video they show before the game starts, they should have some kinda recognition of their achievements inside the football stadium whether it is a plaque or a sign with their name and the years they played/coached at Tech. Can't forget where we came from and who got us this far.
The so-called "nice" end zone building isn't much to look at from the outside but the facilities inside are phenomenal. One of the best in the West. We saved alot of money by cutting back on the exterior of the building and poured millions into the inside. The inside looks like an NFL facility. Also we DO have an indoor practice facility just to the northeast of the stadium. It is blocked from view by the stands and some trees. It is very nice too.
Our press box, however, is an absolute joke. That's one of the next renovations on the list.
We do have suites and skyboxes in the North Endzone complex.
btw your facilities can't be worse than Idaho's. At least you have a stadium.
(addendum: sorry I guess I should read the whole thread before posting. Big Blue Dart beat me to the corrective punch)
