Stayed in the RV. Nice park, had fun, fishing was not great.......but then again I had 2 kids catching more trees than anything!!!!
Good place to stay. Also Darbonne is a nice place.
Jimmie Davis State Park has 17 cabins and two 4-bedroom lodges in Jackson Parish about 30 mins from Ruston. Fishing on Caney Lake pretty good right now.
Cabins are really nice there, it's been a few years but you can't go wrong with it!!!!
Stayed there last year. Cabins are decent, they also have a nice boat house. Port au Prince restaurant is just down the road or a short boat ride.
I spent three graduation parties there, nice place. The "master bedroom" isn't really private, since it's just a loft over the living/dining room. I wish Caney had the boat houses that Claiborne has.
Love Lake Claiborne. And Port o Prince's.
