What CB channels do most people frequent around Ruston? What about law enforcement? Truckers?
Hammer Lane
Anytime I am on, it is usually 19. This is the Trucker Channel. It usually has the most traffic. If I am talking with someone to carry on a conversation, or if they are a traveling partner, I will always change to a different channel. Law enforcement use different frequencies than what you will have on a typical CB radio. The only other channel that i know of that has a traditional use is 9. This is supposed to be the emergency channel.
breaker, breaker, one-nine, this is rap artist, anybody got a copy?
Rifleman here...Any Bulldawgs got their ears on? I left TECH and attented TX AM Corpus Cristi in the early 90's. The only thing that kept me sane on the many and long trips between Shreveport and Corpus on 79 and 59 was my CB. I used my dad's old whip and cb rig with an amp in the trunk. He's a geologist and had some super-cool CB stuff from his old days of running the roads to rigs beore the newfangled cellular phones.
BTW: "The Rifleman" was my favorite show as a kid.
