The Saints are terrible right now. And I could swear Peyton quit on them today as well. Pitiful loss!

It was shades of Les Miles with the clock management before the 2 minute warning. We didn't look good at all. Need to get it together.
LOL at the Peyton questioners.
How many chances did they have to score after he "wasted all that time"?
Answer: Enough.:icon_wink:
Why don't y'all get on D.B.? He's really the one who sucked today.
Definitely horrible clock management in the 4th qtr. 6 minutes to go at own 20 yard line, down by two scores and we come out running the ball? WTH?? And I don't agree with punting on 4th and 2 with 5 minutes left still down by two scores. Where did our explosive offense of the last 4 years go? That was very frustrating to watch.
I didn't say it wasn't the Qb. But its probably the coach's decision to run the ball on 1st and 3rd down, and to punt on 4th. Lack of urgency can be blamed on the entire offense, including those calling plays in, but the decision to run twice and punt is probably on Payton.
I still think that outside of BSU and Oregon, the spread is dying a slow death. It worked for the Saints for a few years, but it is being figured out now. Even with Reggie, they still had trouble moving the ball. Brees was used to having at least 2 options as a safety valve last year. This year he has none because they are all being covered.
Brees just hasn't been himself this year. I am still waiting (hoping) that he catches fire at some point. That was pitiful yesterday. We looked about like the cowboys.
My lovable Saints are back....
:bigcry:
This loss was on Brees - not on the staff - the defense played well enough to win, the offense just didn't make the plays
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
I think that Brees' knee injury is worse than they are telling us. He just hasn't been the same since that happened. If he needs surgery, they just need to do it so we can have him back next season.
