Things are going from bad to worse for the Cowboys. They just blew a 13-point lead to the Giants in the first half, and Tony Romo is out of the game with a broken collarbone.

At least somebody coached Romo into not wearing his cap backwards and smiling this time after being knocked out last night. But Jerry Jones face was priceless!!!

I do feel bad for Boys fans, this year has gone from bad to worse. I hate to see Romo go down and be lost for the year basically. Maybe there is some silver lining in that the Boys might be able to get a high draft pick now. Hey, it worked for the Spurs that year Robinson got hurt (drafted Duncan the next year). I know football isnt the same as b-ball, but the Boys could probably use one more dynamic player on D (a safety if possible).

The Texas Rangers have about as many bandwagon fans as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

Thanks, we will need a lot more than luck at this rate. We have only been impressive in one game. Outside of that, we could have easily lost all the others and got our ass kicked by the Browns and the Cards. Brees looked lost in those games. I dont know why the Saints are being so hard headed. The D is better this year, play more conservative on O until we get Reggie and Pierre back. But noooooo, we lose to the Cards who cant move the ball because Brees keeps turning the ball over on our side of the field. We lose to the Browns and Brees once again with two pick 6s. We had a nice blend of talent, luck, and clutch performance last year, it seems to be missing this year. Still, we started 13-0 last year, not easy even with luck on our side.

As for the Boys, I wonder if they might actually play a little better now (I know, it is hard to not be better than 1-5), but maybe Romo getting hurt takes the pressure off some and they just play the game. Maybe the play calling will be a little more balanced. I look for the D to play very well, and maybe people will sharpen up their game with Romo out (ie quit getting 10 penalties a game). Who knows? I see either nice rebound and play well or monumental collapse. This will test the character of the rest of the Boy's roster for sure. From the looks of things, Dez Bryant will definitely rise no matter what. As for Olshansky, I guess he was trying to get everyone fired up, and hey they got back in the game. He did kind of look stupid with his antics when they were down 18, but I understood why he was doing it. The Boys were flat out dead before that first TD from Kitna.

Exactly! That's the way it is here in E.Texas. Two of the bandwagon cowgirl fans in my office said exactly that this morning, "Well I guess I'll pull for the Rangers now".
And I guarantee it's the same in bandwagon N.La.

I'm not questioning your loyalty to the Saints, but why do you hate on the Cowboys so much? Hard to be humble after the Saints one their only superbowl to date I guess.

Hate to break it to you but most women are band wagon sports fans (if you can even call them sports fans). My future wife would root for the Akron Zips if that was my team. I hope someday we have band wagon fans because that means we will have had sustained success.

Now thanks for making me use up my milestone post on this subject. I was hoping #1,000 would be a comment on a Boise State ass whooping but no such luck.
