Ryan Matthews was able to get 234 yards on 19 carries against the Broncos last year. We need a game like that to even be competitive.

And Fresno still lost by 17.

+2 or more turnovers, win time of possession big, play inspired all over the field and maybe just a little hoodoo voodoo.

Besides the obvious win the turnover battle and be consistent on the offensive side of the ball (400 yards of offense minimum)....

We have to protect the middle of the football fied. If Paige is out, we also have to do a lot of work in the secondary. We are getting torched up the middle of the field in the passing game. We have to protect the middle of the field to have a chance.

Boise is going to score, there isn't a defense in the country that can stop that (not even Alabama....who I think should still be #1). The way you keep the game close is by controling the clock, like we did with LSU last year. We would allow the play clock to run almost all the way down on every play....oh yeah...you have to run the ball to do that. The way to stop their offense is to not let it on the field.

Seriously? I have no idea how to beat Boise State--neither does anybody else seeing how they haven't lost a reg season game in about 3 years!

If we can play loose, hit some big plays, force some turnovers, get lucky, maybe it could happen...

Broha and IK need to hold several meetings with Kellen Moore, about ten yards behind the line of scrimmage. Preferably with the football in attendance.

I agree. Playing loose is a key. It's an everything to win game. I won't say nothing to loose because there will be 1 milllion plus watching the game.

    1. +3 turnover margin
    2. special teams touchdown
    3. 200 yards rushing

90% of the teams in the country would have dififculty doing one of those things to boise, much less all three. i'm sure our guys are feeling confident after the last two weeks and they should be, but boise is a different animal. boise will not be pleased they are getting screwed at #3 in the bcs. in other words, if they have a chance to get style points on national tv, they will and i don't blame them. i'd give us a punchers chance (20%) if the game was in ruston. i would give us about a 2% chance now.

When they catch the ball absolutely smoke them. Helmet to helmet? Who cares. Make them pay.
Hit Kellen Moore after he throws the ball.
Creer needs to do his best bulldozer impersonation.
Talk some smack. Push and shove between plays.

We probably won't win, but if we do these things I promise the viewers will have some respect for us. Don't back down.

Our best chance to win would mean:
Ross throws for 350 and no picks.
Defense doesn't allow more than a couple big plays.
    Livas breaks one.
    No costly penalties.
JVic finally plays like everyone thought he could.

We'll have to play a damn near perfect game. Hope we can keep it close and see who has the heart in the end.. I believe our guys are finally buying in.
