Got to wonder about the accuracy of those polls that measure voter sentiments. Most of the polls at the end of October listed Angle at 50% and Reid at 45%. Those numbers were reversed on election day.

The mob got out a long time ago. The repubs elected a governor and others this election cycle. The bottom line is that Nevada doesn't have that many voters so election fraud is easy to detect. Besides, Nevada is basically a conservative State that takes honest elections seriously.
The big factor is that Manny the boxer showed up with Reid a few days before the election at a Reid rally. One taxi driver commented that it was worth getting at least 15k Reid voters to the polls.

I saw that the non-union vote was 48% for Angle and 48% for Reid. The union vote was 68% Reid and 29% Angle. I think the unions did a good job getting their folks to the booth.
I can't imagine Conservative Republicans voting for a guy who has given them 15% unemployment and shoved a Health Care bill down their throats. If it's a conservative state, something doesn't add up.
I agree that the unions did a good job getting their folks to the booth.
Moderate Repubs voted for Reid because Angle was a fruitcake. She had a history in the Nevada assembly where she voted no on everything. She wanted to get rid of the VA and outlaw booze in Vegas, etc.
Read the link I posted on post#1 and it will show that Reid only won because Angle was his opponent. Any moderate repub would have won easily.

Nevada Republicans elected Angle over the moderate Republicans. The RNC needs to learn to support the conservative, not just the moderate Republicans. I was a bit naive to all this before this year. I never knew the RNC and the DNC played such a big role in who they wanted to be elected.
I dont know if this was already posted, but this reminds me of that family guy quote...
