Most of their big scorers are gone. PVAM played Texas Tech pretty close last year. They lost 60-67. Later on they lost to Rutgers 45-50. They are a pretty decent SWAC team. We should beat them. If we play high tempo ball like back in the Barmore days, these guys will not keep up.

I usually keep up with the game threads during basketball season. It's my favorite part of the season.

FYI, Next Friday Techsters play UALR in Little Rock, you guys come up.

Thanks for the invitation. I'd really like to see the game on the 19th up there, but hope I am manning the chains at a second round Haughton football playoff game. Your research on all the games is SUPER and very much appreciated. Should be seeing both men's and women's teams twice each at Ruston in the next 8 days!!!

Looks like Cynthia Cooper got busted for some major NCAA violations and got fired... Apparently she gave cash and Comets tickets to her players... PVA&M lost some scholarships and got put on a 4-year probation... I think she and Spoon were friends, and that's why the game was scheduled...

I hate to hear that about Cynthia..... Besides Techsters in the WNBA, she was one of my favorites to watch play.

they did have some issues there, but she left to be the coach at UNC- Wilmington in May of this year

There was an investigation this fall with the current UNCW staff because of a punishment one of the coaches gave the players. Cynthia Cooper-Dyke better make it happen at UNCW or she will be gone.

I will have to this weekend. Can't make the trip over from Texas. Works pretty well, but I do get some buffering when I have to do this.
