The bigger baseball programs and schools started scheduling like the Football BCS programs...they buy home game wins and will not return any game of decent travel. Only chance you have is if they stop by on way somewhere else. Look for this more all over as started last year. You have to pay significant guaranty and they still may not come. Tech is not going to pay any guaranty outside football or basketball and very few if any there as well. In fact, you would find that AD pushes these other sports to find away games with good guarnatys over home games. Covers all expenses and possibly a little left.

We will not lose any expense money to Baylor or Rice for example.

Just the way it works between the haves and the have nots and just getting broader than football.

For the first time since I graduated, I get to go to one of those baseball games. I'll be at one or two of the opening weekend. I have seriously missed some Tech baseball.
