Not a bad hire, it fits their budget.
I know you're being facetious but this is one of the worst hires I have ever seen, and I say that without a hint of ULM bashing involved.
Awful stuff, man. Dude was 5-a million at Army. Fired from Miami, fired from UNLV, HEY LETS HIRE HIM! AS HEAD COACH!!
I really feel sorry for the Warhawks. This may be the nail in their program's 1-A coffin.
Ew.
Guy's resume doesn't exactly scream confidence. I honestly can't remember anything about him from his previous jobs, but the fact that he's been at quite a few fairly reputable schools and failed to get the job done tells me all I need to know. ULM's head coaching job is now officially, and forgive me for the reference, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teaching position. That is, if it wasn't already. This revolving door will never quit spinning.
Hope the guy can recruit his figurative balls off.
I'm happy for ULM. I love seeing them fail.
I don't get it, ULM fired the coach, and "thank you charlie" is written all over scout.
Then they hire a guy that has less wins combined than Charlie in the last season alone.
Confused.
SAVIOR imo
Todd Berry bandwagon starts RIGHT HERE, baby. TOOT TOOT
WOW?!!
I think their admin is purposefully destroying the program. Unbelievable!!
He got fired from Army after an 0-7 start in 2003... He was 5-36 from 2000-2003 at West Point...
He was Charlie Weatherbie's OC in 2004 and 2005 at ULM....
In 2006, he joined Larry Coker at Miami in his final season and got fired...
From 2007-2009, we was OC/QB coach at UNLV but got let go after Mike Sanford got fired a couple weeks ago...
Now he's ULM's head coach... Looks like they've got a winner! LMAO!!!!
Some of you that were thinking some ULM people were conspiring to drop ULM to FCS, or lower, may be right.
I detest Berry more than I do Miles.
I feel sorry for them and their players - their program is just flat broke and even playing home games in Arkansas is not going to improve things... It is a dead end job and the coaches know it.
ULM, where sh*tty head coaches are hired.
It is a non-elite thing. Tech people won't understand.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
