    Radio Headphones

Some of you might be familiar with the headphones that have the radio built in it. My girlfriend's father wants one of those for Christmas and she has gone to best buy, radioshack, and academy and no one had them in stock. What brand has the best quality and where could she find some? Thanks

Why not get an MP3 player that has a radio in it along with some headphones. Most of the MP3 players have a radio in them now and he can have the radio and his favorite music all in the same package. I use a Sansa which is usually cheaper than the ipod but just as good and a pair of phillips headphones.

I got a pair of these for father's day years ago. They've been great. Just keep AAA batteries handy.

    hey man,

not sure if you know this but most modern mp3 players have built in fm tuners. i didn't know this either until a few months ago when i bought one at wal mart for 40 bucks or something. a few gigs of tunes plus an fm tuner and it plays youtube vids. not a bad deal.

yes i've turned into old man 'listen to game at game' guy.

Rap music drove me to old man status.

To keep this thread from being hijacked, I will comment that I have an Ipod with a tuner and noise (rap music) cancelling earphones. I am a very happy camper now.

I buy those $5 get ups at Fred's or the Dollar General - that way I don't feel so bad after they have been bounced down the concrete steps numerous times....

I forget you have a captain destructo age kid with you ... or were you referring to emotional outburst causing your headphones to become toxmagoggin (for those looking for a word of the day, "toxmagoggin" is a noun used to identify the remnants of a thing that is broken in anger).

My wife go me one of those real fancy ones that goes around your arm and all and after about three exciting TOUCHDOWN thrusts in the air duct tape was needed...

$5 work just fine for me - it even picked up 99.3 last night if I held it just right....
