Shelby is a good kid, don't know the other boy. Hard to believe that they would be involved in something like this. Hopefully there is more to the story that what TNS has reported. Time will tell.

I gotta believe there is more to it. There is word on the street regarding what happened, but I won't go into all that.

That article was strange. It talks about the boys' accomplishments and say that they have no information, then goes on to define what aggravated rape was. Very strange.

Actually, I don't even think he was offered (at least in baseball, can't speak for football). I do know from his mom that he was "burned out" at the time he graduated HS.

I know one of these boys and his family very well and like you I find it hard to believe that he would do something like this. There is more to this story and I do not think that this should have made the paper without more details, but what can you expect of the News-star.

TNS has been pretty consistant in reporting bad news about area athletes. Based on today's report, it appears they are doing a good job of informing the readers that there is another side to this story.
