I wanted to say that I am sorry for disrupting your message board and for calling out your school and fans, and I also regret entangling your fans amid the WAC controversy with BYU. BYU is a school that teaches its family to love and show respect to all peoples including those with which we have strong political and religious disagreements.

I do not know what came over me, but that attitude is not welcomed at BYU and is unrepresentative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not asking for your forgiveness because I don't deserve it. I am asking you not to judge BYU or the LDS Church for the poor choice of words that I have used.

Your anger is justified. Mine was not. As sappy as the teachings of the LDS Church seem, I find peace in many of the things that it teaches IF I'm not so stubborn to refuse to listen.

The only thing that angered me was your sudden appearance spouting the belt litany about how arrogant we are toward others. You should not make judgments from what you might read on other boards as all that is written in them is slanted including what you will read on BBB. We are proud of our school and with good cause so you will see the pride here on BBB. As far as the religious talk, a sports message board is not the place, and I do not put others' religion down contrary to what you implied.

I commend you on your statement above and will welcome you here as long as you behave yourself.
