Obama bans Gulf drilling 7 years

Two things...

First, this makes two federal court rulings that obama has ignored. In both cases, the states, the people, just need to ignore obama and just do their thing.

Second, if we are to accept that it is okay for the govmint to ignore federal court rulings, then let's ALL start doing that EVERY time a federal court rules on something voted in, such as happens a lot in California it seems.

Better yet...just do away with the federal courts altogether. They have been mostly the tool of liberalism to thwart the will of the people for decades.

As for the off-shore drilling. I know why the oil companies are afraid to listen to the judge and resume production. If they take this bold stand against the fed govmint a showdown will occur and they are afraid the popular opinion will NOT support them. So, the very people (the masses) complaining about the moratorium will support punitive measures against the oil companies saying, that's good for "big oil." Screw 'em.

Maybe, but probably not when gas is $5+ / gal. and a bowl of Cheerios $5 too. But it's a slick way for a WH socialist to ruin a company .... and capitalism too. When a community organizer declares unemployment is the #1 problem to be solved....bet the ranch it ain't even on the list, same way with healthcare....never was about healthcare. It's about scuttling the ship.
