    Will politics respond to "futures"?

Did you notice about every future closed up Friday?
Just a ruff estimate, but looks like about every Jan to Mar futures contract index average somewhere around + 20-30% compared to January-March 2010.
Anone believe it is the value of the commodities,.... or the loss in value of a currency being pirated by an uncontrolled Fed???????

Now, why are we being told inflation is <4%???

What's in your wallet? Your government wants to know.

NATURAL GAS and COAL are not setting any new highs. Inflation for consumers is usually measured by the CPI-U numbers which are hardly moving. <2%.

Gold and oil are priced in dollars and the dollar is being devalued. Hence, those commodities are going up in terms of dollars but down in terms of other currencies.

House prices are the thing to worry about. If they continue to fall a lot more people will be so underwater that the default numbers will go up still more.

I can't imagine there will be no consequences for the massive increase in the money supply.
