Yea I posted it earlier in the Urban Meyer thread, its been all over twitter for about 6 hours now, and ESPN just broke it. Orangebloods.com confirmed it about 3 hours ago. As if Texas' defense wasn't dashed and down enough this season with the loss of all those assistant coaches, now they lose this stellar coordinator. Strange times in Texas.
So much for another "head coach in waiting".....
Texas just thought it had all of the fires put out from the train wreck that was 2010....

Texas has lost the offensive and defensive coordinators, OL coach, & DL coach/special teams coordinator since their regular season ended in late November.
damn
Sabans 03 staff at LSU continues to branch out. You now have saban as hc at bama. Jimbo is hc at Fla St. Dooley is hc at Tennessee. Now muschamp is hc at Florida. Who knows maybe Kirby smart will be the next hc at Georgia one day.
Texas is screwed. Karma is indeed a b****.
http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1751287904460 This is a link posted by a Texas fan on ShaggyBevo.com describing their current situation, a total meltdown.
On the "shock" factor, this is about a 4 out of 10. Only because I figured Foley would go for an experienced HC. UF is not really the place to do on the job training, or at least the fans do not expect it.
Interesting that Texas and Florida are considered the two top jobs in the country right now. I guess if you have a coach-in-waiting, the HC needs to go after 2-3 years...at most.
Those pious Teasips have got to be losing it totally tonight!
Sorry guys but after living over here for a long time.........this is pretty funny.
Texas has more $ than even the big schools in the SEC and will make a come back.
