That is pretty sweet, kinda weird it's in UTEP of all places. Someone should send the guy an LTAC or Q4E brochure...

It's a good buddy of mine, actually. Not an LTAC member, either.
I knew the name of the place but never saw the sign. I'm going to give him a heads up and tell him to call licensing himself, or just pull it down.
Please make sure he keeps it up, something that awesome deserves to be seen by all.

I'm all for them being a supporter. They could probably get one of those Miller Lite or Bud Light signs. But what they are doing is illegal.
I understand that. I just think that our name needs to be in as many places as possible. I love it being in El Paso!
It unfortunate cause Tech will never grant him permission to associate our name with a liquor store, even if he agrees to pay the licensing fees. The higher ups are to damn stubborn.
Just getting a reply from licensing guys or gal at TECH is a major achievement! I got passed down the chain until I just gave-up. Couldn't even get a phone call back! My theory is this: If they won't answer you when you request them to what makes you think they are going to police it? Just use the logo

I hope nobody is getting this guy in trouble. I think it's awesome that he's sporting the State-T logo out in El Paso. Do you think they will allow him to continue using it - remember this is the same bunch of puritans that wouldn't let Tech Team Shop sell shot glasses and flasks with a Tech logo. Jeez.
