Well, everyone's got a 50/50 chance. I think Auburn convincingly, but I also have been wrong about virtually every bowl game this year!
No one....there is no national champion determined in FBS football.
Now I would like to see Oregon win the bogus championship, but I have a sinking feeling that Auburn just might.
Don't really care, but if I were betting straight up, I would go with Auburn.
I am thinking it will come down to second half adjustments. Auburn has done what it had to do to stay in a game in the first half. They made changes where they had to to stay ahead or come back late in the game. Oregon had to do the same in a few games that weren't blowouts from the start. I think most people will bet on this game being a 42-35 or 45-38 kind of game. I am thinking 33-28 with the defense being better than advertised. I don't know who will win, but I am pulling for Aubie.
Ducks beating the Tigers and the aging SEC scheme?
I'm not sure what is meant by this, being as the SEC has totally dominated the BCS National Championship.
TCU
I expect Arkansas & Auburn to smoke Ohio St. and Oregon.
Current lines have Auburn between a 2 and 3 point favorite, with an O/U of 74. I don't know how I feel about either of those...
They played very poorly last night, no doubt about that. They looked nothing like the team that closed out the year.
From the teams I've seen so far this bowl season, I'd say its
Stanford
TCU
Oklahoma
Okie State
Ohio State
In some kind of top 5, with of course AU and Oregon left to play. MS State is right there as well...never thought I'd say that.
SEC wins in the NC until they lose.
Auburn and cheap shot artist Nick Fairly will put a hurt on the ducks. I don't care who wins, just hope it is a good game.
Can't wait for the DAWGS to go bowling in 2011......or 2012
Washington drubbed Nebraska (Big 12 north champ). Stanford dismantled Va.Tech (ACC runner up spanked South Carolina). USC didn't play b/c of violations. If Oregon beats Auburn, there's no argument as to what conference is better.
