Pretty impressive.
This reminds me of this video I saw a while back.

All he needs is some shaggy socks!
The only time in my life I actually rooted FOR LSpoo...
Later, with the Jazz in N.O., it was a pleasure to watch Pistol play....when he wanted to. Don't want to dwell on the negative, but Maravich dealt with some depression issues (until he found Christ!) and sometimes at the peak of his career, he looked "uninterested" on the court.
But, when he was on....man! he was the best. The game that sticks out the most was vs. the Knicks with Walt Frazier and Earl "the pearl" Monroe at their guards, two Hall of Fame players. The Jazz were mathematically still alive for the playoffs and a win vs. NY would be huge. It was one of those games when Pistol decided to put the team on his back and carry 'em to a "W." Can't remember the details....but Pistol scored close to 40 and the Jazz won something like 99-98 with Pistol making two HUGE defensive plays....once stealing the ball from Frazier and taking it down for a layup in the final seconds, a game-winning play.
I also had the priviledge to play pick-up games with Pistol at the YMCA on Kewanne Drive in Metairie. He would show up at odd times, often early on Saturday mornings, to shoot...but we would talk him to playing some full-court games with us. When you were on his team....you had better be watching...a pass (a rocket!) could come at ya from out of nowhere suddenly!
