I really like that Fresno Bee writer. He really has some great articles with quotes like this a lot.

I also liked the comments from the TV announcers (although they did lapse into having a convo and not commenting on the action of the game at times).
The former Duke player (doing the color) was smack-on with some of her observations...such as blowing lay-ups, unforced turnovers, etc... that's all true and has been the reason the Techsters have been inconsistent.
Nothing stupid now! Win ALL the games we should. Which...should be all the rest of 'em!
BTW...all those Fresneck frosh making HUGE plays....what about our underclassmen?

Speaking of the TV announcers. They were horrible to me. The repeatedly called AJ "Adrian Ross" and even had the audacity to call us "Louisiana State".
They said Young is a junior.

She pointed out the glaring weaknesses and inconsistencies in the Techster play yet somehow managed to also highlight that there is real potential. Although I doubt any of the conversations on this board affect the Techster coaching staff or players in any real and meaningful way, it does seem that what was being discussed by a few on this board (as obvious issues with quality of play) has been addressed. More than likely, that's because we saw what they saw and just had a forum to comment on it.
Regardless, to see the Techsters (with a little luck and a lot of hustle at the end) pull off this win in triple overtime is a great beginning to conference play. It has to be a boost for the players.

I hope the LADY TECHSTERS have a HUGE crowd for their first home game when they return. They DESERVE the support. Those girls traveled for 10 days and played two overtime games. Even if you are only a casual observer of basketball, they deserve a great crowd upon their return. I would love to see them hosting the regional in Shreveport. GREAT JOB GIRLS and COACH T!!!
