The way she has been playing, I could see her moving on up that list easily.

She was 1st Team All-WAC her sophomore and junior seasons.

She was named to the All-WAC Defensive Team her sophomore and junior seasons.

She was 1st Team All-Louisiana her sophomore and junior seasons.

She will become only the third player in LA Tech history to average 15.0 points or more in three separate seasons (Pam Kelly, Elinor Griffin).

Not to mention she came pretty close last year to sending the LSU game to OT with a 3 at the buzzer.

Plus it is pretty hard for a junior to shine when you have a really good senior on the team. But it was pretty obvious last year that both AJ and Dowdell could start for almost any team in the country

True. But the problems last year didn't seem to be either AJ or Dowdell. The rest of the team was very streaky and not near deep enough. Don't forget Long also brought both Dowdell and AJ into the program.

I understand but good grief! Long had Dowdell 3 1/2 years and AJ 2 1/2 years to work with right?
