Southern-Shreveport needs to be dissolved into LSUS and BPCC.
But, it is a black school, and will only identify as that and it is "racist" to do anything but let it do what it wants.
Doesn't sound good to me. I don't mind the idea of merging the two schools, but I don't like the idea of putting the new school in the ULS system. Even more ways to divide the money. . .

Maybe Jindal's next move should be to announce that LA Tech will be moved from the Univ of LA system to the more affluent LSU system, and as a result, LSU-S can (and will) be merged under the purview of LA Tech and called LA Tech-Shreveport.
Again, if the state of Louisiana is serious about cutting costs in higher education, this seems like a no brainer to me. Seems futile to continue paying for all those duplicate administrative costs just to keep a school with at 15% graduation rate (LSU-S) going.
