Paper: Obama, the US president who lost Egypt...

Exactly! Just like another weak arse liberal DEM president, Jimmy Carter, lost Iran to radical Islam.

PAPER: Obama will go down in history as the president who lost Egypt...

Jimmy Carter will go down in American history as "the president who lost Iran," which during his term went from being a major strategic ally of the United States to being the revolutionary Islamic Republic. Barack Obama will be remembered as the president who "lost" Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt, and during whose tenure America's alliances in the Middle East crumbled.

The superficial circumstances are similar. In both cases, a United States in financial crisis and after failed wars loses global influence under a leftist president whose good intentions are interpreted abroad as expressions of weakness. The results are reflected in the fall of regimes that were dependent on their relationship with Washington for survival, or in a change in their orientation, as with Ankara.

America's general weakness clearly affects its friends. But unlike Carter, who preached human rights even when it hurt allies, Obama sat on the fence and exercised caution. He neither embraced despised leaders nor evangelized for political freedom, for fear of undermining stability.

Tyler, you sure you're not a secret agent for Israel?

I'm mean the past 5 Presidents have been supporting that leader MB in Egypt. Maybe, just maybe, the Egyptian people want a new leader. I suspect that if Obama would be in power for 30 years you would be out in the streets protesting too.

    * Venezuelan leader accuses U.S. of meddling

    * Briefed by Libya's Gaddafi and Syria's al-Assad

    By Andrew Cawthorne

CARACAS, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Venezuela's firebrand leader Hugo Chavez accused the United States on Sunday of a "shameful" role in the Egyptian crisis and of hypocrisy for supporting, then abandoning strongmen round the world.

Chavez, Washington's leading critic in the Americas, said he had spoken to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and Syria's President Bashar al-Assad for a briefing on the protests in Egypt and elsewhere in the Arab world.

"In Egypt, the situation is complicated, Chavez said.

"Now you are seeing comments from Washington and some European nations. As President Gaddafi said to me, it's shameful, it makes you kind of sick to see the meddling of the U.S., wanting to take control."

The United States has urged an orderly transition to democracy in Egypt to avoid a power vacuum but has stopped short of calling on President Hosni Mubarak, an ally of three decades, to step down. [ID:nN30161335]

The socialist Chavez has generally cast himself as pro-Arab and opposed to the policies of Israel and the United States. Continued...

Are you actually taking the side of two thug dictators over your own President? Are you really THAT partisan? What do you want the U.S. to do? Send in the marines to crush the demonstrations or send in the marines to oust Mubaric?

The entire globe knows Obama has lost Egypt just like Cater lost Iran. And they are not happy! The Saudi's are livid and China is PO'd. Another evil ,radical, terrorist Islamic Egypt helps nobody!!! They should have provided long term help as well IMHO. That being said, God is in control. He puts the nations leaders in power and allows them to succeed or fall and fail to help complete His plans. Obama is failing. The Bible states that in the "end days" every nation will be against God's people and Israel. So I can easily see even the pro-Israel countries of Egypt, Jordan, Britian and yes the USA, under Obama, turn against Israel.

Egyptian troops hunt Hamas gunmen fighting to control N. Sinai. Two captured
    DEBKAfile Exclusive Report

    January 31, 2011, 1:24 PM (GMT+02:00)

Hamas bids to seize northern Sinai

Egyptian reinforcements reached northern Sinai Monday, Jan. 31 to hunt down Hamas gunmen from the Gaza Strip battling Egyptian forces for control of the territory. debkafile's sources report that the gunmen of Hamas's armed wing, Ezz e-Din al Qassam, opened a second, Palestinian, front against the Mubarak regime on orders from Hamas' parent organization, the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, confirmed by its bosses in Damascus. The Muslim Brotherhood is therefore more aggressively involved in the uprising than it would seem.

Probably more of a side effect of the original massive public demostration. You know how the cockroaches are always looking for an opportunity.
