Bradshaw Resigns

Bradshaw's greatest accomplishments other than the championships were getting 'ships for his players. If Shows worked half as hard and used some of the 25 or so assistant coaches he has available he would have doubled the number Bradshaw has placed.

I would tell Bradshaw the same thing I told SPat at Farmerville. STAY the hell out of Ruston. To many people behind the scenes who want to feel important are involved. Its unfortunate because I know alot of great Ruston High parents but its the other ones who have given them a TERRIBLE reputation and the coaches across north LA know it.

Are you one of those parents bluecrew speaks of? Billy Laird is a good football coach and an even better person. RHS has more football coaches in the stands per capita than any school in the nation. Thankfully RHS has a principal with a backbone.

You couldn't be more wrong. Yes, Ruston does have it's challenges but it is still a high profile position that many coaches would love to be a part of. You would be amazed at the number of qualified applicants that wanted the job when Laird was hired.

Bluecrew had a very good interview with the ex-coach this afternoon on the radio.

Some years back when I had to fill in as a writer, I learned you let Bradshaw do his thing after the game, bitch and moan at everyone, then, all I had to say was, "You ready to talk now? I got a damn deadline." And, he was then a quoting machine.
