Because that is not a coaches job nor is it an ADs job. Merchandise and Licensing is its own animal and is as important as a ticket sales dept, coaching staff, compliance staff, etc.

Come on Omaha, this is Tech. We have become accustomed to our coaches having to do most of the work when it comes to getting stuff done around marketing/promotions. Hell, Sim is the only guy who does it for baseball (especially when that turd JOakes was here). Dooley did so much for football, we just said to hell with it and made him AD. Why not the WBB coach too? Everything else is at Tech is horse and buggy, why not promotions/marketing too! Everybody knows how easy it is to coach and recruit at Tech, they have plenty of time for this...

We definately need to make a huge deal about this if we get through Boise undefeated. The game falls on a saturday, last game of the year, senior day. Perfect for a great crowd to celebrate 1000 wins.
