Thanks for the tip, have to get some yellow/blue jigs at the bait shop. I know I don't have any that color.
Well, it was not very successful. Ran yo yo's from Saturday morning til Sunday morning and used jigs some in between. Rained pretty hard then the temp fell. Once the temp fell, the mudcats starting biting at all depths.
River Monsters may be my favorite all time fishing show after Bill Dance bloopers.

Horrible trip. Too windy and my boat only caught a couple flounder, two reds and 5-6 trout. Called off the Sunday trip as it was just too windy.

Fished Caney Lake Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the rains. 6 total bass, windy conditions ecept for Saturday evening for a couple of hours. We did see two alligators in the lake near the State Park. Did not know gators were in the lake. One was at least 10'

And the 2011 Cowpatty Invitational Champion on the Red River is BBB's own Shreveportdawg.
Oh and the co-angler is a Tech grad too.
