I confess I don't know the whole story here so I'll just show my ignorance and ask. I see the chart has 10 freshman on it. When I look back at Rivals, I see we signed 21 in 2010. Of those 21, 6 were JC. That would seem to me that there should be 15 freshman. Since the chart has only 10, does this mean we have already lost 5 after only one year?!

We lost Seth Ancar and Charcandrick West to grades, I believe. Carey Fortson did not redshirt, so he is under the Sophomore category. Not sure about the other 2.

Neither ever made it because of grades. That is why Sonny wanted all the guys he signed this year to be qualified. Dooley and company never concerned themselves with that.

thats a shame. glad to see our staff now takes a different approach on the matter. 24 of 25 already have the grades out of this years class. i like what i'm seeing.

Wow... I was looking forward to watching Shillow play. He kind of reminded me of James Jordan. Big and fast. He would've done well in this offense.

Thanks for the information. Sure begs the question of why sign someone if they aren't qualified to play? No wonder Sonny needed to sign JCs - the roster is depleted. :bigcry:
