Saw where Baylor's Lady Bears lost to Texas Tech yesterday, ending the nations longest winning streak at 20 games. The Lady Techsters have now won 13 in a row. Do any of you guys know where this streak ranks nationally? Do the Lady Techsters now own the nations longest winning streak?

We're not a close as I thought. There are currently 9 teams with win streaks longer than LA Tech's, including Marist, Stanford, UCONN, Wisconsin-GB, Gonzaga, Tennessee, Chicago St, Temple and Houston. Oh well....

How'd you count 9 ahead of us? That list shows us tied for 8th with UNI. Chicago St and Houston are tied for 10th, along with Appalachian St and Xavier.
Getting #14 in a row will be tough....@ USU. Hopefully, the Techsters were embarrassed by last night's dismal performance and will be extra-motivated to make a statement.
We have some time to prepare. That type of game might have come just at the right time. That is what I am hoping.

They played well early in the game last night, but towards the end of the 1st half it appeared as if they were bored. There was a total lack of motivation for almost the entire second half. I think we needed a game like that to get motivated.
I chose baseball last night so I didn't see the game. From what I have seen I would say this team still doesn't have the required mental toughness. If the Techster teams of the past that were at least Sweet 16 almost every year got you into a hole, they just kept on throwing the dirt on top of you. Not trying to down this team - just stating what it seems to be to me.
Last night was a bad night. I remember some of those teams having bad nights too - they were just able to win no matter what. We did that last night. Yeah, I long for those 40+ margins again. We aren't there yet. Last night was a bad night, though - all the way around. We survived. That is what matters, though. Hopefully, it is out of our system.
Yes, but the list is malleable.....it's always moving. For instance, Houston plays again on the 24th whereas the Lady Techsters don't play again until the 26th. So, if Houston wins on the 24th, we'll automatically drop down to 9th (barring other moves by other teams).....at least until we win 2 days later on the 26th.
