So it's not on the corner at the redlight? There was something one time in paper about asking zoning commission about a small subdivision seems like. Was thinking this might be small houses with Pearce on the corner. Why wouldn't they want to be right on corner so people would see it from 33? Or are they going to take up that whole space and put the ugly warehouse part on the redlight corner itself? Seems odd they'd hide off main drag.
Anyone heard anything about Ruston getting a Chick Fil A and a Firehouse Sub?

2nd quarter 2018 if plans hold true. As with any project, plans can be delayed or postponed.
I have had talks with a few people from Corporate and the tentative opening date is May 2018. My understanding is there is a lot of construction either going on, or scheduled to begin, on that site. It would not be good for restaurant ownership, or guests, if it is too hard to get into and out of the location. As you likely know, traffic congestion and control will be a huge area of focus for the first few months.
Patience is a virtue! But as I said earlier, and have told everyone who has asked me about it, plans for businesses can change quickly due to any number of factors and it is possible that the date could change. I will try to keep you guys updated as I receive information.
