WM getting DQs.
Ruston is getting 2 more hotels.
Also getting a convenience store with a lunch counter of sorts...you order on a kiosk. Same thing is on 165 in Monroe.
A large corporation is looking in Ruston to put a specialty grocery store...think Mac's Fresh Market.
A new health food store is possible.
And the new incarnation of Crescent City Coffee is finally set to open in August.
There's a couple other things that I can't divulge yet, but you may have heard the rumors...they're out there. Can't think about doing business in Ruston without rumors getting out. Another rumor is that a popular name brand hotel in town may lose their franchise license. There is already a group going after it.
"Daily Press" is the name. Great concept and has been very popular over here. He (Bennie Evans) is still working to perfect the concept, but it works pretty good now. Soups, salads, sandwiches, etc.. I think it will be a hit in Ruston.

The more hotels the better chance of hosting conference events for both us and Grambling...

Any hotel on I-20 is a need. But, if you don't want them in Ruston, we'll keep them staying in We$t Monroe Thomas Road area with all the re$taurant dollar$ being $pent.

Yeah, they don't build them if they don't need them.
The mall area is pretty much "full up" with hotels. WM still has room for more w/one currently being built by Hooters. They are building in Ruston and WM because people don't want to stay in Monroe other than the Mall area.
I saw that on facebook, do you know where it's going to be in WM?
No, I saw it on the Taco Bell page so I assume Dawgpix' friend will know.
Also heard that something will be going in the old Longhorn location.
