ESPN: Seeding 'Speed Bumps' Could See Techsters Go Lower
An article by Charlie Creme, "When hosts aren't among the top seeds" on an ESPN website cites seeding confrontations facing the NCAA when top seeded teams host the first two rounds as well as lower seeded hosts may be even lower because of potential match-ups.
He also cites the Lady Techsters at least twice and notes the "hardships" effectively "cited in the principles and procedures manual," of a lower seeded host team playing a top team. He even shows scenarios of the potentially "limiting effect on Tech and Gonzaga," as examples.
