Middle Tennessee Women's Team Deciding on Playing Following Teammate's Murder
ESPN is reporting that with the stabbing death of a Middle Tennessee State women's basketball player, Tina Stewart, the school will allow the squad decide whether to play in this year's Sunbelt Tourney.
The 21-year-old junior guard was found in her apartment with numerous stab wounds and pronounced dead at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
MTSU is the top ranked team in the East division and is to play on Sunday.
