and next he will order the resumption of waterboarding too. Dang it! those stooopid policies of GWB trumps obama's (as he now admits). Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
If he had any class or any humility he would apolgize to GWB. He's ok the patriot act too.
Nothing has changed under Obama; in fact, there are more, not less, of the same intelligence and law enforcement activities he railed against in his campaign. Of course, the reason for this is that Obama didn't have a damned clue what he was talking about during his campaign, as seen here:

We'll never hear any apologies or concessions about his extension of these measures. Just another example of the difference between campaigning and governing.
What does he have a damn clue about? He's dumber than I thought, especially concerning business. He's looking less and less presidential as the problems and crisis mount.
Coincidence that Obama announces his 2012 campaign along with releasing info that KSM and other 9/11 conspirators will be tried by military tribunals?
But Toyota closing up to a dozen auto plants here probably won't help him.
Dems are being absolutely ridiculous with their statements. "Why haven't any Republicans announced?" "Who are the Republicans going to run?" The election is over a year and a half away, they need to calm the hell down. The PPOTUS should bespaying attention to running the country first. It's sad that his own political ad points to the fact he has been a ineffective figurehead.
Paul-Ventura 2012!

The reason for the tribunals is because when they announced the trials would be held in New York the people said"I don't think so".
Actually, democracy (or the perversion of republicanism that Americans call "democracy") has everything to do with it. Pandering to public interests is as "democratic" as you can get. As long as Americans suffer from the illusion that "each vote matters," politicians are going to provide elusions and allusions to what the people want to hear. :icon_wink:
