Not looking good. This was our best starting pitcher against their weakest starter... Tomorrow could get ugly against their ace and a first career appearance for our freshman...

Baylor's coach was very complimentary of Petersen in his post-game interview.

Baylor has been asked several times and each time laughed. Baylor is one of top baseball programs like a Oklahoma and Alabama are in football. Do you really think you would get an Auburn or Alabama in football to come to to Ruston.....that's what I thought.

Well, not quite. Oklahoma and Alabama have about 20 national championships between them. Baylor...not so much. They are very good, but not THAT good.

Yep... Baylor has never won a national championship, and the Bears have only made 3 CWS appearances (1977, 1978, 2005)... 46 schools have made more CWS appearances than that...
