McCain felt very genetic to me. They threw in a wacky side kick in Palin to get a little attention. IMO he got the nomination because they knew he was going to lose. After Bush, it didn't matter who the democrats ran they were going to win. Democrats went all out with Obama and Clinton. Obama got the nod. As bad as that ended up being, we can all take solace that Ms. Clinton didn't ascend to the throne.
Which prediction, that your boy Obama will be a one-hit wonder? Not a prediction; it's a fact. Hell, he might not even win his own party's nomination at the rate he's going. This guy makes Carter look like a good president.
I see lilteatech0003 has found yet another username. Gotta say though, you've mastered the art of getting red-dotted quickly.
I voted Obama in 2008, and given what the GOP has become, I'll vote the same way in 2012.
Yes, everyone is suffering because of the GOP... old people are being forced to die, government workers (such as myself) are really hurting from our 6-figure salaries, and students are being forced to drop out of school in record numbers. The evidence is everywhere!!! And speaking of CEO fat cats, it's pretty cool that the CEO of GE, Jeffery Immelt, is one of Obama's closest friends and advisers... and GE paid $0 in corporate taxes last year. You know, the same GE that runs NBC, the network that's been in bed with Obama since the beginning? But you're right -- it's all a GOP conspiracy.
I know you're embarassed by what your "grand ole party" is doing, but they are actually solidifying Obama's reelection. The American people see that the republicans are not serious at cutting spending but rather at getting even with the dems. They are overreaching so much that they are scaring the people in their own party. Thank you racist extremist tea partiers, Thank You!
Again, nothing more than an emotional rant devoid of any facts. Typical lilteado003 post. Truth? Obama couldn't even get a budget passed when he had a supermajority in both houses of Congress. He has failed to deliver on virtually all of his campaign promises and has gotten us into deeper debt in two years than the past half dozen or so presidents combined. He is completely spineless in standing up to our enemies or confronting issues head-on and appears to have no true foreign or domestic policy, unless forcing us into servitude to China and the UN are policies...
Short of nominating Forest Gump or a John Kerry clone as its candidate in the primary, the GOP candidate will stack up just fine against B. Hussein. In 2008, BHO didn't have any political track record that his opponents could use against him; being an elected official for 2 or 3 years and voting "present" doesn't give your enemies a lot of ammo to use against you. However, his enemies have more than enough from his first 2 years in office to decimate him in debates and campaign ads.
And here's some more truth: leftards can't defend Obama on any of this stuff. Anytime a lib is asked about Obama raising the debt or committing more military forces or fumbling one of his many promises, all the left can do is respond by bringing up Bush. Zero accountability for anything. THIS is what will cost Obama the election -- he invested his entire campaign in 2008 inventing himself as the "anti-Bush" and continues to bring Bush up anytime he's asked to answer a question about his policy missteps. However, it's quite obvious that Obama has been anything but an "anti-Bush" president, and his many mistakes are of his own making, not the fault of a guy who's been in Texas for the past 2 years.
You, salty, and your other four personas can continue to get that tingle up your leg all you like, but it won't save B. Hussein's hide in 2012.
