I realize this was a case of negligent homicide and not intentional murder but somehow I feel 10 years was letting her off a little lightly. What kind of mother leaves a 13 month old in the bath alone to do anything let alone play a game on facebook.

She won't do 10. She'll get out on good behavior, but no matter what they sentence her, she will never be the same after that baby died.
A 13-month old baby that "wanted to be left alone" and was a very "independent baby".......mighty impressive.
