    Casualties: A CNN interactive Map

CNN created an interactive map detailing the names of those who have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, where they are from, and where they were killed. Very detailed. Just thought it needs to be shared.

Does that show that the most casualties were in June of 2010? I totally missed the media reports of that. It actually looks like a jump in casualties since Obama was elected. (or am I looking at this wrong?).

Yes. If you look at the bottom right, there is a bar graph that shows that.

Maybe I should make clear to you both that it doesn't show both Afghanistan and Iraq casualties at the same time. When you click Afghanistan tab beside the Casulaties title, it brings up all the info for Afghanistan. Same thing for Iraq.

There was an uptick in casualties in Adghanistan because the focus of the Coalition focused back to Afghanistan and so did our enemies. Iraq was "over".
