Doesn't mean they can't/won't win. Choosing Obama was big time grasping at straws. Yet he won. Some of the reasons he won, in no order, 1) the country was voting against Bush/War 2) True conservatives realized McCain wasn't and didn't get behind him. 3) The economy sucked and the GOP was in power 4) There are a lot of ignorant people in this country who get sucked in by media darlings, people who know how to deliver speeches, soundbites, etc...

1) If they run a true conservative or close to it I and others like me would probably vote GOP again. 2) The economy is still poor, jobs are poor, and eventually after the love affair with a new President ends people always end up voting with their pocketbook/wallet.

I was never a Huckabee fan and am glad he'll not be a distraction. Now as I look at the current field of potential GOP candidates, I see some solid conservatives, and I see some charisma, but I don't yet see both qualities in one candidate.

Fail. If you read my posts you would have seen that we are miles apart. And while I think Tyler is a good guy we do not share political ideals.

I couldn't care less about the Birth Certificate while Tyler does. I would NEVER vote for McCain, Tyler did. We differ on the War in Iraq, Possibly Afghanistan, Social Issues, Bush, and a great many political ideas. You obviously didn't do your homework before making that ignorant post.
