I don't think it will ever westernize. Those people still live like it is about 1000 AD. Even if they get rid of the dictators, the religion doesn't allow for a system of liberty and equality.
Neither did old-school Christianity, but it modernized too. Economic prosperity can modernize any religion.

But Christians are taught to love your enemy and Muslims are taught to kill your enemies. Christianity is based on idividualism and Islam is based on collectivism (Shariah Law). Christians do not have a need for a nation. Muslims want to take over the world. The only way they can westernize is to reject Islam, imo.
I know plenty of Westernized Muslims.

That's true, they do exist. And all men long for freedom, regardless of their religion. It's possible, but it will take a long time for the majority of Muslims to transform/reform the teachings of the Qaran. It seems the Obama adminstration thinks it has already happened, and they are wrong.

So true. If the Bible is true, the Muslims will not westernize. The whole world will come against Israel along with the Muslims. That being said, it is going to happen regardless of what Obama does. And God may have actually placed Obama in office to hasten all this. Just trust... we know it ends well.

This is a slippery slope when mixing religious beliefs with politics. Jews hold no more favor from God than Muslims. Glenn Beck is just trying to appeal to some evangelicals that are still looking for Jesus to establish a literal 1000 year kingdom in Israel.
But Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world." The Kingdom of God is within you if you are Christian, just my belief.
